Bears Split Weekend With Win Over Beavers

The No. 14 Cal volleyball team doesn''t lack talent. It boasts one of the best outside "Jintropin (Gensci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.)" hitters in the country in Hana Cutura, an All American setter in Carli Lloyd and a rising star in freshman Correy Johnson.

Week after week, though, the inability to stay tough mentally has plagued the Bears, resulting in "Anabolika Definition" a 2 3 record in the Pac 10 going into the weekend.

"In the first (sets) we haven''t done a great job coming out," senior libero Kristen Kathan said. "(Against the Beavers) we stopped . overthinking and went out more fired up than we''ve ever been."

In close matches, Cal has had the tendency to fold when momentum shifted in its opponent''s favor. But even in spite of early deficits, the Bears held tough Testosterone Cypionate Blood Clots against Oregon State, sweeping the Beavers, 3 0 (25 22, 25 23, Winstrol D&H 25 22), at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore.

In the first set, Cal went down 13 9 "Anadrol 50" before taking a timeout to regroup. After that, the Bears came out swinging, finding sophomore hitter Tarah Murrey on the outside five times in the remainder of the set.

After winning the first set, Cal promptly proceeded to fall behind 6 2 in the second. But Oregon State (11 8, 2 5 in the Pac 10), which came into the match hitting .218, ultimately couldn''t keep up with the "Oxandrolone Powder India" Bears, who hit .341 in the second set.

The outsides put up the biggest numbers for Cal (10 7, 3 4), and it was big kills from them that carried the team. Murrey and Cutura combined for 33 kills, and Johnson added Testosterone Enanthate 1000 Mg Per Week seven more on the opposite side.

"We miscommunicated a "Achat Anabolisant Belgique" few times in the middle so (the middle hitters) didn''t get a lot of confidence or a lot of rhythm going," coach Rich Feller said. "Our passing was pretty good but it wasn''t perfect. We felt like if we went to the outsides, we could score points."

It wasn''t Cal''s offense that stole the show against the Beavers; it was the facet of the Bears'' game that has struggled the most this season: defense.

Cal put up 61 digs in the match and it was that aggressiveness that made the difference for the Bears. Four players had double digit digs, helping Cal to weather 22 ties and 11 lead changes.

"In matches that we''ve lost, the other team makes (spectacular) plays and we sit there and scratch our heads going, ''Why are they so lucky?,''" Feller said. "Well, they weren''t. They had lots of effort and discipline. (On Saturday), it was our turn to do that."

The win brings the Bears to 3 4 in conference play with the luxury of four straight home games in the next two weeks. And that should give Cal the opportunity to maintain consistency where it matters most.

"If you looked at (Saturday''s match compared with Friday''s match), you would have seen much more tenacity, heart, relentlessness on defense," Kathan said. "We let Oregon suck the life out of us and when they pushed, we didn''t push back. Comments are not pre moderated, but may be removed if deemed to be in violation of this policy.
